Promotional Videos for MEIKO will appear in future posts. You can see my current playlist on my YouTube channel, here:

UtaiteUploader's YouTube Channel - MEIKO Playlist

My opinions on MEIKO are really vague. I love her design, but her voice can be quite vague unless you really know how to push her to the limit. I can't wait to see her new versions, however, as I believe I only have such a negative impression on her as she is one of the originally released Vocaloids, so the software wasn't as good. Let's hope they do a good job at improving her <3

Cute Anime Widgets!

For all that love anime, you'll love these cute widgets - from the infamous Fruits Basket!

I've been searching for new things to add into my blog, but thought these really suit the ultimate otaku blogger, more than my weird mix up...(LOL)

The widgets are animated, and are available to be placed in the 'Corner' or 'Sidebar' position.
For those that don't know how to install widgets into their blog, go here for a good diagram:

Week Pick - Hatsune Miku PVs

Okay, here is a few of Hatsune Miku songs that I've took quite a lot of interest in this week.

I've decided to post a few songs every now and then for you guys to view - saves you taking ages browsing YouTube for the best songs to download or watch. Sadly for some fans, I won't be posting any Vocalo-Electro music, as there are so many similar videos and I'm not a big fan. Here, you are most likely to see PVs, popular and less popular, or my favourite picks off the site. Thanks for listening, and here are the tunes ~ <3

Heart Rhythm - Hatsune Miku Append

So jingly and sweet, this video is almost impossible to ignore. It's simply but lovely, and thought it quite a nice one to share.
Composer: 融合P
Illustrator:  真理恵
English Translation: AmeSubs
Watch on NicoNicoDouga: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm18374667
MP3: 4Shared

Chaining Intention - Hatsune Miku

This PV is just amazing in so many ways. Although it is produced via MMD (MikuMikuDance), it is still one of the top PVs on YouTube. It was produced for Japan's 4th MMD competition, and actually won! And in my opinion, competition was tough in cup 4 (especially if you compare it to cup 1's winner).
Composer: Treow
Lyrics: NaturaLe
Video Creator: MatasakeP
MP3: 4Shared

Melt - Hatsune Miku

I love this PV. It's just plain adorable. Sure, everyone's heard of melt, as the creator is super famous, but this is the first time I actually watched the PV. I think it matches perfectly, as it is cute and sweet.
Composer: Supercell ryo

K-Pop Artist - BoA

Who is BoA?

BoA  is a Korean solo artist, active in South Korea, Japan, and the United States. Her name can be an acronym for Best of Asia or Beat of Angel.
She was discovered by SM Entertainment talent agents and in 2000, after two years of training, she released ID; Peace B, her debut Korean album, and is now known by many of her fans as the 'queen of K-Pop'.

My opinions on BoA are actually really good - she was one of the people that actually got me in to K-Pop. Many people have a more negative view on BoA, however, as her American debut was a little disappointing. But her comeback in Korean has made up for that, with songs such as 'Only One' and 'Hurricane Venus' showing off all her skills.

BoA has also collaborated with many high-profile artists, such as Westlife ,M-Flo and the Backstreet Boys Howie D, and working with artists such as Akon for her third album release.

'Troublemaker' - Sung by Troublemaker

Recently come across a K-Pop music Video on YouTube, that is apparently very popular (but I'd never seen it before in my life...)

Despite this, I thought Troublemakers self named music video was rather enticing. Here is the video on YouTube:

Sung by: HyunA (from 4Minutes) and  Jan Hyun Seung (from BEAST)
Release Date: 1st December 2011
Album: Trouble Maker (EP) Mini Album
Genre: K-Pop, Dance
Mp3 Download: 4Shared
Featured in: Dream High Drama, Kahi Drama
Korean Lyrics: http://www.musicelyrics.com/hyuna-hyunseung-trouble-maker-lyrics/
English Lyrics:
1!2!3!

When I see your eyes, I’m a trouble maker
When I stand next to you, I’m a trouble maker
Little bit more more more
As I go more more more
Now I can’t help my own heart

So you can’t forget me, I keep standing in front of you again
Your heart, so I can’t shake it and get out of it
I steal your lips again and run far away
I’m a Trou a a a ble! Trouble! Trou! Trouble Maker!

Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!

I’m going to bite your heart and run away like a cat
You’re going to keep getting ruffled, come up in front of me and let your anger out
My sexy walk will arouse inside your head
My inwardly skinship, your eyes are saying “I can’t take it any longer, I’m going to die”

As it continues I fall in deeper, the more I know, I’m liking you more baby
I think I’m drunk with the thoughts of you lady
I never never never stop!

So you can’t forget me, I keep standing in front of you again
Your heart, so I can’t shake it and get out of it
I steal your lips again and run far away
I’m a Trou a a a ble! Trouble! Trou! Trouble Maker!

Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!

How would I be able to contain you inside my heart (Trouble Maker)
Now I’m just going to go with how I feel
I never never stop!
I can’t stop

So you can’t forget me, I keep standing in front of you again
Your heart, so I can’t shake it and get out of it
I steal your lips again and run far away
I’m a Trou a a a ble! Trouble! Trou! Trouble Maker!

Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!
Trouble Maker!

My opinions on the music video are quite both sided. I find the song is greatly catchy, but the video concentrates too much on HyunA's body (mainly her a***), which I don't really want a view of, and there isn't enough views of Hyun Seung, which is the body I really want to look at (lol). The music though is why I like this, as the song is nice and upbeat, so is quite addicting when you get into it.

But despite the endless views of HyunA's butt, do you guys like the video? What are your opinions?

Best Hatsune Miku Image?

There are loads and loads of Miku-chan's images all over the net. So are there any more good ones to add to your collection?

All of the images here are off my photobucket account, so collected across the entire internet, so may not have a fixed location for where it came from.
I may post more at a later date, as my current photobucket had 322 pictures just in the normal Miku folder (there is many I like). Just in case you want to see my folder now, here is the link:

 My Photobucket Hatsune Miku Folder

My Current Top Miku Images:

Best Sweet Miku - Sunset Miku
Best Real Life Miku - Cold Miku

Best Abstract Miku - Raindrop Miku

Best ''Above View' Miku

Best PV Miku - Romeo and Cinderella Miku

If you have any recommendations, post me a link :) I'd be happy to see them. Although I've got more than 300 pictures, it doesn't seem that many when you've had them a while.
There are a couple more I also liked, but since a lot of my pictures were the same size they didn't fold into the post very well. I'll post them at a later point.

Best Winter Miku - Smiling Miku

My personal favourite is 'Sunset Miku', so far. What's yours?

The Best VY2 PV's?

VY2 isn't the most popular of the Vocaloid 2's, but he's one of m favourites. So which songs are his best?
Fanmade Image of VY2 Yuuma

I'll give 5 of his best promotional videos, in any order, with their information. I know it is tough finding videos by him, but there are still many which stand out.

If anyone does not know about VY2 Yuuma, you can get more information on this post here:

VY2 Yuuma Information

1.   The Loquad On My Forehead is Bad

Song:                 Original
Publishing Date:  September 20, 2011
Composer:         uramanbou
Illustrator:           manbou no ane
Watch on  Nico Nico Douga: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15658454

Yay! An original song by VY2. It's one of the popular songs by him, even though the title and lyrics are a little strange. It shows off his voice really well - and I think people have watched it more not knowing what the title is, as the one with the highest views is posted in Japanese. (And for those of you who don't know, a Loquad is a Chinese fruit)

2. A Clingy Boy Sticking For 15 Years

Song: Cover (Original By Hatsune Miku here: 15 Years Pursuing A Cute Boy)
Publishing Date:       July 11th 2011
Composer:              uramanbou
Illustrator:                manbou no ane
Watch on Nico Nico Douga: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14989713

This is one of the most popular of VY2 songs, and has a really good PV to go with the song. Sadly, its a cover, and it would have been so much better to realise it as an original song.

3. Noticed

Song: Cover (Original By Hatsune Miku here: Realize It Already!)
Publishing Date:         May 3rd 2011
Composer:                Pettanko-P
Illustrator: Unknown... If anyone knows, please comment :)
Watch on Nico Nico Douga:  http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm14335903

Such a sweet song for him to sing, and I must say, it may be my personal favourite. Even the picture used is so sweet, and I hope more songs like this get uploaded to the internet.

4. Lightly, Lightly

Song: Cover (Original By Hatsune Miku Append here: Hirari, Hirari)
Publishing Date: November 5th 2011
Composer:         たまぁ~ずP
Watch on Nico Nico Douga: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16081310

I like this video as it shows a lot of the potential of VY2's voice. He is one of the only Vocaloids that can perform successful low notes, and it gives a good show.

5. 1000 Cherry Trees

Song: Cover (Original by Hatsune Miku, here: Thousand Cherry Trees)
Publishing Date: November 5th 2011
Composor:        黒うさP
Watch on Nico Nico Douga: http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm16082434

This one is a striking song, but doesn't really show VY2 at his good points. Still, it is entertaining, and the PV to go with it is rather good.

So what's your opinion on VY2 Yuuma? And what are your favourites by him?

Other Songs by VY2 I like:

Youtube: Albino, Blackboard, The Memorable Man's Daughter, Birds Across The Stars, Single-Mindedness, Encephalon.
With Gakupoid: Pok is Invisible
Nico Nico Douga Only: The Lost One

If anyone wants any more VY2 Music Videos, Please comment.

My Favourite K-Pop Music Videos

Okay, here is the list of my favourite ever K-Pop releases.

I'll post my top 10 videos, in order, of my current favourites. If they change, I may have to post again, as there are so my good ones!

1st Place - Shock by BEAST

Upbeat with cool dance moves, this one smashed it for me. It isn't just appealing for girls as of it being a boy group, but is also a good one for boys as of their style.

2nd Place - Bad Girl Good Girl by Miss A

Their song is really trippy and easy to get hooked on. When you look at the lyrics, it completely strikes you as 'girl power', so even gives you a reason to forgive their suggestive outfits.

3rd Place - Hurricane Venus by BoA

One of the artists that got me hooked on K-Pop has given us a glimpse of who she really is in the song releases after her American debut. This song had a huge sense of identity, and is seen as a major improvement to her previous songs to all K-Pop lovers.

4th Place - The Boys by Girls' Generation (If you're impatient, skip the 1st minute to the song)

Although the intro can be a bit of a bore, this song is catchy and addictive.

5th Place - Juliette by SHINee (Hard choice to pick out of SHINee videos, but I think this one came top)

6th Place - I'm Your Man by 2PM

Cool and a very reformed, 2PM is a popular choice for alot of K-Pop fans. This one entertains me mainly as of the cool dance...it gave me a clear picture in my mind for days after I first watched it.

7th Place - Genie (Tell Me Your Wish) by Girls' Generation

Girls' Generation always give a good positive vibe in their music, but this one is an extremely happy song to always help cheer you up.

8th Place - Sexy, Free and Single by Super Junior

Okay...maybe a little obvious that the title was the first thing that made me watch this video. Luckily the song lived up to the name so I'm very pleased placing it here.

9th Place - Marshmallow by IU

EEEppp x Sorry for a less upbeat song, but I had to add IU on here. She is cute and sweet, and I love things like this...

10th Place - Only One by BoA

One of her most recent songs, I had to add BoA on here again. This song did really well in challenging her full potential, so she could show her fans what she was made of. It left a great impression on me, and according to the reviews, her fans as well.

Okay, so these are my favourites, now what are yours?

Korean Artist's American Debut's - Good or Bad?

Okay, as you probably already know, once a Korean artist becomes really successful, they may have the opportunity to debut in America. Many artists want to try and make this breakthrough in the birthplace of Pop.

So who has so far  climbed onto the American Ladder? Here are a few videos of many singers debut singles for America:

BoA - Debuted October 21st 2008, with single 'Eat You Up'.

Her self-titled album was then released 2 months later in March, and can be found on iTuneshttps://itunes.apple.com/us/album/boa/id307004155
Some people believe that BoA's debut was not as good as most artists such as Rain, as the song lyrics were lacking and the preview was dull They say that SM Entertainment, who claimed she was 'Best of Asia', was over-rated, but I still believe the Queen of K-Pop has one of the most unbeatable voices of the music industry, and it was only the lyrics which let her down.

Girls' Generation - Debuted January 17th 20012 with single 'The Boys'.

Both the Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation debutted in January, but I believe Girls' Generation were the ones who packed the largest punch. Their debut recieved hundreds of positive reviews from press worldwide, and is now seen as a popular representative of Korean Music. Even before their debut, they had popular artists noticing their songs, and even had K$SHA basing one of her singles on the Girls' Generation song, 'Run Devil Run'.
Their album can also be found on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-boys/id493309571

Other Debuted Artists Examples: Utada, Se7en, Rain, Wonder Girls.

Who is to debut next? Well we believe 2NE1 is planning to release an album produced by the one and only Will.I.Am, and are hoping for even more success from our Korean idols. Good Luck out there!

What are your favourite American debuts? We'd be happy to here from you, so please leave a comment <3

TRENDING - PSY's Gangnam Style

Top of the charts in Korea and the UK. A trend for cheesy, but colourful song 'Gangnam Style' has swept the globe.

For those of you don't know, 'Gangnam Style' is a single released by Southern Korean rapper PSY, released on July 12th 2012. The music video has been viewed over 447 million times on YouTube, and is currently thriving still at the top of our charts.

In my opinion, Gangnam style is an average song about a guy who fancies a girl who likes coffee. Nothing special about the lyrics, but it does have a good beat and an entertaining music video. I wouldn't really recommend Gangnam style to most, however, as I find PSY has quite a plain voice, and if you don't watch the video along with the song, it can actually be quite boring.
So why is Gangnam style appearing across the world? Most likely as the music video is funny, and is brimming with 'summery' feelings.

Here are the lyrics to 'Gangnam Style', for those who don't know them already:

Oppa is Gangnam style
Gangnam style
A girl who is warm and humanle during the day
A classy girl who know how to enjoy the freedom of a cup of coffee
A girl whose heart gets hotter when night comes
A girl with that kind of twist
I’m a guy
A guy who is as warm as you during the day
A guy who one-shots his coffee before it even cools down
A guy whose heart bursts when night comes
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh
A girl who looks quiet but plays when she plays
A girl who puts her hair down when the right time comes
A girl who covers herself but is more sexy than a girl who bares it all
A sensable girl like that
I’m a guy
A guy who seems calm but plays when he plays
A guy who goes completely crazy when the right time comes
A guy who has bulging ideas rather than muscles
That kind of guy
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Beautiful, loveable
Yes you, hey, yes you, hey
Now let’s go until the end
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style, Gangnam style
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh
On top of the running man is the flying man, baby baby
I’m a man who knows a thing or two
On top of the running man is the flying man, baby baby
I’m a man who knows a thing or two
You know what I’m saying
Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady, Oppa is Gangnam style
Eh- Sexy Lady oh oh oh oh

So can 'Gangnam Style' strike a trend in the popularity of K-Pop? I believe, yes. Not only has viewing on K-Pop music videos on YouTube significantly rose since then, but K-pop is already popular among most music lovers. This is a way of spreading knowledge on K-Pop music, although may cause a little ignorance from people who dislike the humour of the video.
But anyway, this isn't probably why you've clicked onto this topic, this is what you really want to see...
For your entertainment, here is: 'Gangnam Style' by PSY

Korean Drama - Dream High

I've now watched Dream high, and I believe it to be my favourite Drama yet. It's full of heart, and the complex story line kept me hooked from the beginning! I highly recommend it for other people, especially if you're into romantic things, and I would even recommend it to people who generally dislike dramas. It is very realistic for a drama like this also, as it shows that although 2 people may like each other for a short period, they may not end up as life-long lovers, like in many similar dramas.

General Information on Dream High

Quick Synopsis:
Six students at Kirin Art High School work to achieve their dreams of becoming stars. Students at an arts and entertainment school mature as they face incidents and struggles. This series shows singing, dancing, and acting and also shows the true side of the entertainment industry.

My Thoughts:
Although seeming really soppy and cliche at first look, this drama is quite unique, and you have no idea which couple will end up coming out on top until right at the very end.
My favourite that I rooted for would be the milky couple, Jason and Kim Pil Sook (Played by 2PM's Wooyoung and IU) as of their cute appearance and simply sizzling chemistry. What's your favourite couple??
