Korean Artist's American Debut's - Good or Bad?

Okay, as you probably already know, once a Korean artist becomes really successful, they may have the opportunity to debut in America. Many artists want to try and make this breakthrough in the birthplace of Pop.

So who has so far  climbed onto the American Ladder? Here are a few videos of many singers debut singles for America:

BoA - Debuted October 21st 2008, with single 'Eat You Up'.

Her self-titled album was then released 2 months later in March, and can be found on iTuneshttps://itunes.apple.com/us/album/boa/id307004155
Some people believe that BoA's debut was not as good as most artists such as Rain, as the song lyrics were lacking and the preview was dull They say that SM Entertainment, who claimed she was 'Best of Asia', was over-rated, but I still believe the Queen of K-Pop has one of the most unbeatable voices of the music industry, and it was only the lyrics which let her down.

Girls' Generation - Debuted January 17th 20012 with single 'The Boys'.

Both the Wonder Girls and Girls' Generation debutted in January, but I believe Girls' Generation were the ones who packed the largest punch. Their debut recieved hundreds of positive reviews from press worldwide, and is now seen as a popular representative of Korean Music. Even before their debut, they had popular artists noticing their songs, and even had K$SHA basing one of her singles on the Girls' Generation song, 'Run Devil Run'.
Their album can also be found on iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-boys/id493309571

Other Debuted Artists Examples: Utada, Se7en, Rain, Wonder Girls.

Who is to debut next? Well we believe 2NE1 is planning to release an album produced by the one and only Will.I.Am, and are hoping for even more success from our Korean idols. Good Luck out there!
