What is Vocaloid?
Vocaloid are voice synthesizing programs that were first launched in 2004. There is now 3 versions of Vocaloid: Vocaloid, Vocaloid 2, and Vocaloid 3, each being a more advanced series of programs than the previous.

They are used to synthesize the human vocals in songs (a machine that sings for us) and have now spawned everything from albums, to figurines, to concerts.

There is a wide variety of Vocaloids, arguably the most popular being Hatsune Miku (from Vocaloid 2, pictured), and they are mostly popular when they have a 'mascot' the represent the program.

In the blog I will feature posts containing  information on each of the Vocaloids, and give regular posts on many Promotional Videos (or PVs) that I find entertaining. I hope you enjoy them :)
